How Do Sound Waves Travel?
The first graders got a little science mixed in with their music lesson. Music Specialist Jessica Barker taught the young Sharks about sound waves—how they are invisible and how they spread out. She did a demonstration with bass and snare drums, and then led the students through a real hands-on demonstration.
